Location

Lausanne is a dynamic, attractive city built on the hillside above Lake Léman (often referred to as Lake Geneva). It is in the French speaking area of Switzerland within easy reach of Germany, Italy and France and less than an hour from internationally known alpine ski resorts.

A multicultural city, Lausanne offers numerous activities to suit all ages – many cinemas and theatres, a vibrant musical scene, excellent shops, and numerous cafés and restaurants.

Home to the International Olympic Committe, the city has outstanding sports facilities. Headquarters to many multinationals, Lausanne is well-known for its excellent higher education establishments, such as the Ecole Hotelière de Lausanne, the EPFL  and the IMD.

Brillantmont is in the centre of Lausanne, just five minutes walk from the city’s attractions in a leafy, suburban area. The railway station is a five minute taxi ride, whilst Geneva International Airport is a forty minute drive.
