Holiday breaks

The school calendars are available on our website. We kindly ask that families respect the dates of the terms and ensure that no holidays are taken outside these dates.
During the breaks where the school organises a trip, we strongly encourage day and boarding students to participate, as not only will they have a great time with their friends, they will also get the chance to discover new places and have new experiences. All trips are fully supervised by Brillantmont staff.

October break

During the week-long October break, a trip is organised to a European country. In recent years, this has included Paris and Provence, France; London and Stratford, UK and Barcelona, Spain. The trip is a mix of cultural discovery, visiting famous sights and some time to discover and get a feel for the place.

February break

A week-long ski trip is organised to a Swiss ski resort. Students ski all day, under the supervision of fully qualified ski teachers from the Swiss Ski School. Brillantmont staff take care of the students when the skiing is over and on the full after-ski programme. The trip is extremely popular with both boarding and day students.

Ascension break

From Easter to June, the school does not have any holidays. We do however, have a long weekend over the Ascension period and a three/four day trip is organised. In recent years, this has been to Munich, Germany.
                                        
Should any boarding student not wish to return home during Christmas, Easter or summer vacations, we can recommend various camps in Switzerland, England or other countries.
